Anyone who reads my blog regularly will know that I often make trips to London & Glasgow especially for makeup shopping & I've decided enough is enough! To put into context it's actually quicker (and usually not much more expensive!) to fly to London from Aberdeen than it is to take the train to Glasgow!
In Aberdeen we can't buy MAC, Laura Mercier, NARS, Urban Decay, Shu Uemura, Illamasqua etc etc. I've decided it's time to use people power for good & lets start with getting MAC to Aberdeen!!
If you want to help the campaign, you can go to this Facebook page & 'like' it. It doesn't take much for brands to sit up & listen so even if you don't live in Aberdeen go show some sisterly solidarity & help us north-east makeup lovers out!
can't beleive there isn't a MAC in aberdeen...madness. am clearly spoiled in glasgow..x
ReplyDeleteI can't buy any of those brands in Ayr, but at least it's less than an hour to Glasgow on the bus. I hope MAC takes note and opens one sharpish! x
ReplyDeleteI wish I could like the group a thousand times! I am sick fed up of not being able to buy the best makeup brands in Aberdeen. Hopefully they listen :)
ReplyDeleteThere's apparently a House of Frasers coming to Union Square in Aberdeen. Maybe there?
ReplyDeletemakeup is already a tad expensive.. its ridiculous that you should have to further drop cash. before you actually shop..
ReplyDeletewell.. *like*
hope MAC hears you out ;)
In a huuuge Russia we have only about 3 shops where you can buy MAC, I hate that because for me to get it you need to fly about 5-7 hours. I'd be happy to see it in my hometown as MAC is the only brand I can't get on-line :(
ReplyDeleteI understand your pain :) "Like" your facebook page now :)
Seriously rubbish you don't have MAC - fingers crossed they take action! xx
ReplyDeleteI also would die to have a MAC store in Milan!!!
ReplyDeletelove MAC products xx never fails to amaize me xx
ReplyDeleteYou think that's hard, try living in Trinidad&Tobago...sure we have one MAC branch but that's the only high end makeup store we have down here. I have to wait till I go away every 2 years to buy stuff like urban decay etc. :[
ReplyDeleteI whole heartedly support you, thankfully I am only an hours drive to Edinburgh MAC but think its crazy we only have 2 stores in the whole of Scotland. Must of got used to having two stores in Newcastle when I lived there that it was a shock to the system when I moved back to Scotland! xx
ReplyDeleteLets all put our money together and Open a franchise store - there is obviously enough interest? ;)
ReplyDeletewe really do need mac in aberdeen we need urban decay as well
ReplyDeleteMac is opening in union square! It's being put in right now :) wooo
ReplyDeleteElysa there's Urban Decay in Debenhams at Trinity Centre.
