Birthday Giveaway

Hello!

January saw the anniversary of my 30th year on this little planet & also saw my blog turn 2! With my trip to New York taking up all my spare time, I didn't have time to do a birthday giveaway, so here it is!

All the products were picked up in New York and will go to one lucky winner. So, up for grabs is...

    My best birthday present ever? hmmm thats quite a hard one. Its probably the Mickey and Minnie Mouse ornament my husband bought me. He's not usually very good at buying gifts, I always end up writing him a list but this gift he bought totally on his own. its Disney Traditions, Mickey giving a heart to Minnie, holding flowers behind his back. So cute. It means alot that my husband chose it himself.

    My favourite birthday present... hmmm... would definitely have to be the trip to Vegas. I thought I couldn't go as I couldn't afford it, and my parents surprised me by paying for the remainder of the trip! It was incredible and the whole time I was there, I was thinking of them and how lucky I was to be there. Happy birthday to you! x

    My favourite birthday gift ever has to be when i was a child and i got the toy i waited so long for a talking doll which was called cricket! Made my day until the batteries ran out and my dad had to run to the local garage to get batteries as i was petrified of her voice (when the batteries were low!haha) hope you had a fab birthday Laura.;)x

    I think my favourite birthday present would have to be my glasses, I broke my previous pair a couple of days before my birthday so my boyfriend bought me the most gorgeous pair of Missoni glasses to replace my old ones :) It was such a thoughtful present and I still use them two years on...

    Mine was leaving school! On my 16th it was our last day of school, It meant we finished really early and I got the chance to spend most of the day at the sea side with my best friends rather than studying for what seemed like endless exams!

    My favourite ever birthday present was my first car, for my 17th. It was an *ancient* Renault Clio, white (natch) and I named her Marge. She croaked along for about two years before going to the great scrapyard in the sky and I have many happy memories of zooming around deepest, darket Essex listening to Destiny's Child like the super cool kid I was :)

    Happy birthday to you and your blog! My favourite birthday gift to date was the treasure hunt the girls in my year at school did for my on my 14th birthday. It must have took them ages to make and I can still remember the creativity that went into it - and best of all the hunt lead me right to the presents from my family and also from them, my friends :) x

    My favourite birthday pressie was for my 30th. Like you, I was taken to NYC to celebrate in style and was treated to some lovely little blue boxes from Tiffany on Fifth. Best birthday EVER! I'm glad you had such a great time. It's such an amazing city.

    I turned 30 on January 23rd. :) Eeek, I'm still getting used to it and trying to accept 30. My favorite present was when I was about 6 or 7, I got a doll that's makeup would show up if you applied ice to it's face. lol I loved it, and years later I became a Makeup Artist.

    My favorite gift I received when I was in 6th grade. I had chicken pox so I was in quarantine. My mom baked me a cake, and it was sooo cool, i had to eat all of it myself!

    I hope you had an awesome birthday! This is going to sound terribly pathetic, but for my fifth birthday I had a fancy dress party and got a Captain Scarlet costume on the day to wear for it. I remember not wanting to take that costume off for weeks and weeks, most girls love fairy princess costumes, I wanted to be indestructible and kill the mysterons! I don't think I have ever been so excited about a birthday present since, certainly not enough that it stuck in my mind. Ah for the days where presents aren't money to pay for every day things!! :) xo

    I love the gifts I get from my nan. She always buys me the expensive perfume that I can't afford. This year it was Stella by Stella McCartney, last year was Coco Mademoiselle, and the year before was YSL Elle Intense. I know it's a little shallow, but I just love perfume!     My Favourite Birthday Present ever was, arriving to my aunts house (can't remember what age 5 or 6) to find she had a birthday cake ready for me and my 2 cousins waiting to sing me Happy Birthday its very special to me because she passed away from Cancer a year or two later.

    Every December for the past 10 years myself and my husband have travelled to New York for Christmas shopping and the trip usually coincides with my birthday. The best birthday present ever was the first year we went there and my husband bought me a Tiffany bracelet. Jude xx @jadlgw

    My favourite birthday present was a few years ago , my mum bought me a fab tea set. might not sound great to a lot of people but I loveit. It sits in a glass cupboard in the kitchen, I can see it everyday, and it comes out for visitors and sometimes just for me when I'm feeling good.

    My favorite birthday present has to be the holiday my parents brought me to Center Parcs, I went with them and while I was there I met up with my birth mother, it was a lovely weekend with my parents and nice to meet my birth mother as well. x

    I am going to be honest. I can't exactly remember back to elementary/maybe middle school when I actually received presents for my birthday. Ever since I can remember I have only received money for my birthday. My birthday last year I was in training for the military and freedom was very limited. I had gone months without having my favorite drink from starbucks and when I finally got to the other base where we could have some free time there was a starbucks there. So for my birthday my battle buddy gave me a starbucks gift card. I didnt ask for it he just was great listener and remembered when I told him that that is what I wanted the most!

    My favourite birthday present was when my boyfriend got me my laptop. The computer at home was really slow and he knew it annoyed me and I was overwhelmed that he had spent so much money on a laptop for me. He knew it was something I would really get some use out of. I actually cried when I opened it lol!

It's red leather and probably the most grown up thing I own. Even though most of my jewellery doesn't fit in it I'll never change it :)
